In additition to the Platformer Mode, many other new features will also come with Version 8.

One of those features is the "Inheritance Screen":

This is basically a "flag list" that makes it possible for transforming objects to inherit some or all values of the old object. And also, the object can get a Script ID with the transform.

This makes it possible to make more complex "game objects"; Transformation doesn't automatically mean a "new object" anymore because old values can be inherited.

Also, as you can see from that picture, this is "Data Page 5".
"Data Page 4" will contain a collision editor screen for the 3 new collision types: Pixel Perfect, ImageBox and HitBox. :)

Here is another new thing:

In this picture you can see new buttons next to every "XY OFFSET" data field. The plan is that when clicked those buttons will open a "coordinate editor", where the XY offsets can be directly set with the mouse.

Originally I planned that this "coordinate editor" would be used to define the "hitbox" collision areas, but then realized that it could be easily used for many other things too. The editor itself will be a simple big black box that will "pop up" in the middle of the screen when you click those buttons.
